China

College Recruiting

Pfizer China has always regarded personal development as necessary for company growth. With the expansion of our corporate business, there has been a greater focus on preserving talent. Sales talent training in second- and third-tier cities specifically are directly related to business growth. Since 2006, the company has selected and engaged Medical Information Communication Specialists (MICS) through campus recruitment, and provided those future sales talents with specialized training. Thus far, almost a dozen MICS who joined the company as fresh graduates have advanced into management positions as MIC district managers after passing a Budding Assessment. In addition, hundreds of their colleagues who entered the company in a similar fashion have performed excellently and are becoming the core strength of their business units.

The 2010 Pfizer China Campus Recruitment Tour began in Shenyang on October 18th, 2010. After this first event, Pfizer held four weeks of campus talks at 15 universities and medical colleges in more than 10 cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Guangzhou and Fuzhou. This year's recruitment tour is the largest campus event ever hosted by Pfizer. The events cover almost all business units including WBB, PDB, and PGRD. Pfizer does not target university specializations and ranks, but rather students' learning and communication abilities. Pfizer believes that eligible candidates who possess proactive and effective qualities are more ready to face the challenges of business than those who do not.
